O que denominamos a impropriedade  do Dasein experimenta agora, pela interpretação do decair, uma determinação mais rigorosa. Mas impróprio e não-próprio de modo algum significa “propriamente não”, como se com esse Modus-de-ser o Dasein perdesse em geral o seu ser. Impropriedade não significa algo semelhante a já-não-ser-no-mundo, pois constitui precisamente o contrário, a saber, um assinalado ser-no-mundo completamente tomado pelo “mundo” e pelo Dasein-com com os outros em a-gente. O não-ser-si-mesmo tem a função de uma possibilidade positiva do ente que, essencialmente ocupado, é absorvido em um mundo. Esse não-ser deve ser concebido como o imediato modo-de-ser em que no mais das vezes o Dasein se mantém. [SZ:175-176; STFC:493]

Lo que antes hemos llamado impropiedad del Dasein recibirá ahora una determinación más rigurosa por medio de la interpretación de la caída. Sin embargo, im-propio o no-propio no debe ser entendido en modo alguno a la manera de una simple negación, como si en este modo de ser el Dasein perdiera pura y simplemente su ser. La impropiedad no mienta una especie de no-estar-ya-en-el-mundo, sino que ella constituye, por el contrario, un modo eminente de estar-en-el-mundo, en el que el Da-sein queda enteramente absorto por el «mundo» y por la coexistencia de los otros en el uno. El no-ser-sí-mismo representa una posibilidad positiva del ente que, estando esencialmente ocupado, se absorbe en un mundo. Este no-ser debe concebirse como el modo de ser inmediato del Dasein, en el que éste se mueve ordinariamente. (STJR:193-194]

Grâce à l’interprétation de la déchéance, ce que nous avons appelé l’‘être-référé-au-« monde »’ du Dasein1 est désormais l’objet d’une définition plus précise. Toutefois, ‘être-référé-au-« monde »’ et ne pas ‘être-référé-à-soi’, cela ne signifie nullement « ne pas être proprement », comme si le Dasein, dans un tel mode d’être, était totalement déchu de son Être . ‘Être-référé-au-« monde »’ désigne si peu quelque chose de tel que ‘ne-plus-être-au-monde’ (Nich-mehr-in-der-Welt-sein), que ce mode constitue précisément un ‘être-au-monde’ insigne, lequel, dans le ‘On’, est complètement prisonnier du « monde » et de l’‘être-là-avec’ des autres. ‘Ne-pas-être-soi-même’ fait office de possibilité positive de l’étant qui, par essence, alors qu’il se préoccupe, se confond avec un monde. Tel qu’ainsi défini, le fait de ‘ne-pas-être’, il faut le concevoir comme étant le mode d’être immédiat du Dasein, celui dans lequel il se tient le plus souvent. (ETJA:§38]

Through the Interpretation of falling, what we have called the “inauthenticity” of Dasein  may now be defined more precisely. On no account, however, do the terms “inauthentic” and “non-authentic” signify ‘really Not’, as if in this mode of Being, Dasein were altogether to lose its Being. “Inauthenticity” does not mean anything like Being-no-longer-in-the-world, but amounts rather to a quite distinctive kind of Being-in-the-world — the kind which is completely fascinated by the ‘world’ and by the Dasein-with of Others in the “they”. Not-Being-its-self (Das Nicht-es-selbst-sein) functions as a positive possibility of that entity which, in its essential concern, is absorbed in a world. This kind of not-Being has to be conceived as that kind of Being which is closest to Dasein and in which Dasein maintains itself for the most part. [BTRM:220]

Was Wir die Uneigentlichkeit des Daseins nannten , erfährt Jetzt durch die Interpretation des Verfallens eine schärfere Bestimmung. Un- und nichteigentlich bedeutet aber keineswegs »eigentlich nicht«, als ginge das Dasein mit diesem Seinsmodus überhaupt seines Seins verlustig. Uneigentlichkeit meint so wenig dergleichen Wie Nicht-mehr-(/termos/i/in-der-Welt-sein), als sie gerade ein ausgezeichnetes In-der-Welt-sein ausmacht, das von der »Welt« und dem Mitdasein Anderer im Man völlig benommen ist. Das Nicht-es-selbst-sein fungiert als positive Möglichkeit des Seienden, das wesenhaft besorgend in einer Welt aufgeht. Dieses Nicht-sein muß als die nächste Seinsart des Daseins begrif-fen Werden, in der es sich zumeist hält. [SZ:175-176]
