E junto a isso, até mesmo os polidos renovadores do eterno ontem, que exalam moralidade e exalam probidade e que permaneceram calmos uma vez que o trono e o altar voltaram a manter-se seguros contra o comunismo, que, afinal, mais que nada havia ameaçado também as riquezas, o estado e os negócios corporativos. Agora, volta-se a representar o papel do homem refinado e superior diante dos camaradas rudes, e para não chamar em demasiado a atenção, tem-se também "consciência social". Quanto ao resto, sob a máscara do guardião da "ciência" se leva ao extremos a "indiferença" e a barbárie. Aqui reina a máxima ignorância e desprezo pelo que está sucedendo.
